The 36th Annual International ACT Conference was nothing short of eventful, and as we wrap up on the experience, we wanted to share some of our highlights of the past week in Chicago.

First day: Introducing the Monday Morning Keynote Address

We kick things off on day 1 with our Head of Insights Andy Keeton, TDM-CP heading to the stage to introduce Ryan McCarty (Culture of Good) for his keynote address, Moment to Movement: How to Drive Community Engagement with Purpose.

His inspiring talk on how to empower movement in communities was captivating and we had an audience discussion on how to work towards a better future for commuting.

Attending TDM sessions from a fantastic program line-up

It wasn't easy to choose which sessions to attend each day as there was no short of great, informative sessions and pre-conference workshops this year, with great discussion topics told by TDM professionals and experts.

Some stand outs for us where the Women on wheels: Why more women means more people biking session, and the Employer-based TDM in a hybrid world on how commuters with support from their employer are more likely to make eco-friendly transportation choices, plus strategies on refining commute solutions with that in consideration.

Exhibiting among many great innovative TDM companies

The ballroom was buzzing through every exhibitor hour and every lunch break, with conversations centring around Commutifi and the other great commuting solutions in the room. It was a great experience to talk to TDM professionals in-person and and to get to know the exhibitors showcasing at the conference this year.

Our cosponsored After Hours event with Liftango and Ridy

We had a good time serving a game of ping-pong and networking with other TDM professionals at our first ever ACT After-Hours Networking event, co-hosted by our partners Liftango and Ridy. Shout out to everyone from the conference who joined us!

Final day: ACT National Awards Breakfast

Our Head of Insights Andy Keeton, TDM-CP gets awarded the Emerging Leader Award alongside Marie-France Laurin during the National Awards breakfast on the last day of the event. We're proud of Andy for all his hard work and achievements in TDM!

"I was honored to be given the Emerging Leader award by ACT President Connie McGee. The ACT community has provided me with so many amazing opportunities to grow professionally and personally, and I'm excited to continue my engagement in the TDM space for many years to come." - Andy Keeton

See you next year in Seattle!

Thanks to ACT for putting on a great event to highlighting TDM solutions and discussions, and for all the sponsors and exhibitors for being a part of the conference. We'll see you again next year in Seattle!
